David Wurawa is an award winning Actor known for his lead and
character work and knack of portraying diverse characters.
David has played a spectrum of African, African-American, Afro-European
roles gathering him rave reviews. He has starred, co-starred,
guest starred and played principal roles in Theatre, Film, Television
and Music Videos in Africa, Europe and Asia.
David has had extensive Theatre/Film training and experience,
he speaks four languages in addition to English and German.
He trained at the Bulawayo National Theatre in Zimbabwe, Neighbourhood
School of Theatre (USA), Act UP (UK), The Actors Centre (UK
on going study), Improvisational Acting with Keith Johnstone,
Randy Dixon (Unexpected Productions Seattle), TJ Jagodowski
(Second City Chicago).
Screen Acting with James Cellan Jones, Mary McMurray, Mark Bowden
(Actor´s Centre UK).
David is a consummate professional who strives for excellence
and growth in his craft. He does business with honor and integrity.
He has been described as professional, positive, proactive,
creative and discplined.
David was born in Zimbabwe, he holds Austrian citizenship. Currently
he is living and working in Vienna, Austria. He also travels
extensively and internationally for Film and Television work.
